  • Yes. Public parking garages and metered street parking are available throughout Old Town Alexandria near our venues, and the Basilica of Saint Mary also has several parking lots nearby. Hotel Heron offers valet parking only for overnight guests ($45 + tax per night).

  • Friday’s welcome event is cocktail attire. Cocktail or midi dresses are perfect for women, and button-down shirts with dress pants for men (blazers optional).

  • Saturday’s celebration is black-tie optional. Tuxedos and gowns are encouraged, though dark suits and floor-length dresses are also perfectly appropriate. The ceremony and dinner will be indoors, while cocktail hour will take place outdoors if the weather permits.

    Our ceremony will take place during a Catholic Mass, so we kindly ask guests to dress in a modest manner appropriate for a church setting. Please plan to bring a shawl for the ceremony if needed.

  • The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30 PM. We recommend arriving about 15 minutes early to allow time for seating before Mass begins.

  • We ask that all phones and cameras remain powered off and out of sight for the duration of the Mass. Your presence is requested as a prayerful witness, not a spectator through a lens.

  • While we love all of your children, we can only accommodate guests named on your invitation for the wedding on Saturday. If you are traveling with your children for the weekend, we would love to see them at the welcome reception on Friday evening.

  • Our wedding is invite-only for the guests listed on your invitation. Please reach out if you have any questions.

  • Yes, please indicate any dietary needs when submitting your RSVP.

  • Yes, Cooper Mill has an elevator, The Basilica has a ramp, and Hotel Heron has elevators and ADA rooms available within our room block.
